Angelina Jolie looked absolutely stunning in an elegant dress as she stood on a balcony of a historic building overlooking Palazzo Pisani-Moretta and the Grand Canal in Venice. Her latest movie role required her to play the role of a wily interpol officer, and she seemed reminiscent of a Shakespeare play with her majestic appearance. The location was charming and added to the overall aesthetic appeal of the scene.
Taking inspiration from Romeo and Juliet, the scene was filmed for The Tourist in a location just down the road from Verona. While co-star Johnny Depp lurked in the background, Jolie blew a kiss and waved during the filming. The previous day, the 46-year-old had his turn to smoulder on the balcony. The film’s plot centres around Jolie’s character, an Interpol agent who recruits a broken-hearted American tourist (Depp) in an attempt to lure out a criminal with whom she once had an affair. Directed by Oscar-winning Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, the highly-anticipated romantic thriller stars two of Hollywood’s biggest names. Von Donnersmarck also oversaw The Lives of Others.
