When Mau was found in a cemetery, he was just around two years old. He was in a terrible state, emaciated and exhausted, suffering from dehydration, and with weak breathing. Despite several people passing by, no one came forward to help, assuming that the boy had already passed away. However, one good samaritan couldn’t hold back his tears upon seeing Mau’s condition and felt sorry for his tragic fate. Without wasting any time, the kind-hearted person rescued Mau from the side of the road. As it was a holiday, all vets were closed, and the rescuer had to take Mau home.
Despite the man’s efforts to offer him food, Mau declined and sat gloomily in the corner. The man then brought Mau to the animal hospital the following morning at 8:00 a.m. for a check-up.
The veterinary specialist ordered an immediate MRI scan for him due to suspicions of a spine issue. The findings left the medical team stunned as they discovered that he had been carrying two bullets inside him – one in his chest and the other in the middle of his spine.
For an extended period of time, they had inhabited the body of Mau and the prospect of curing them seemed daunting. The indices for liver, kidney, and digestive systems were all alarmingly low, and the presence of infections had been confirmed. This situation was especially challenging and excruciating for individuals who had to struggle every day just to make a living.
As he patiently waited for the doctor to devise a plan to extract the bullet, Mau’s condition slowly improved. Unfortunately, he never witnessed a miraculous recovery, and his legs remained unable to carry him. Despite this heartbreaking outcome, the most significant thing was that Mau had survived.
Our little guy, who is known for being calm and tranquil, has finally been discharged from the hospital. The medical professionals declined to remove the bullet since they feel that the chances of surgical complications are unusually high.
